
The Cabonne Unsupervised Pools Program officially opened on Saturday 11 October.
Unsupervised Pools Program: Pass holders for Cabonne Pools can now access the pool during designated unsupervised hours (6am – 7pm, daily). For further information and to apply for a pass, go to: www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/Recreation/Swimming-Pools/Unsupervised-Pools-Program. All Cabonne Shire pools will officially open to the public from Saturday, 8 November 2025.
HSC Nominations: An impressive five Canowindra High School Industrial Technology students have been nominated for SHAPE, which is an exhibition featuring a small selection of students’ exemplary HSC major projects, picked from thousands of Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design projects. A huge congratulations to Elsie Boland, Scout Stacey, Elsey Watson, Thomas Street and Sophie Green.
CWA Canowindra Branch AGM: Will be held on Thursday 23 October 2025, 6:30pm at the CWA Hall, Blatchford Street. Members are being invited to to take on positions for the coming year. Perhaps your interests lie with cultural, handicraft, cookery, social issues or being involved in catering or managing the hall. There’s something for everyone.

Wedding Bells: A huge congratulations to newly weds Madeline Cooper of Canowindra and Jake Boyd of Cowra. Maddie and Jake tied the knot with a Nuptial Mass with Father Thao before holding a beautiful ceremony and reception at St Aubyn’s in Bathurst. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Boyd!
