Winners: The Canowindra PA&H Ladies Auxiliary raffle was drawn at the Canowin­dra Show 27 September. Congratulations to Linda Watt 1st prize winner valued $150 and Janice Grimshaw 2nd prize winner val­ued $100. Thank you to everyone for your support.

Daylight Savings: Daylight savings starts this Sunday 5 October at 2am (AEST). Clocks will move forward by one hour, giv­ing you more daylight in the evening.

Double Demerits: Motorists are being re­minded that double demerit points will be in place over the October long weekend with police targeting speed, seatbelts, illegal mo­bile phone use and motorcyclists not wear­ing helmets. Double demerit points will be in force for four days commencing on Friday 3 October and ending on Monday 6 October (inclusive).
