Gooloogong Markets This Weekend: Head to Gooloogong this Sunday 10 August for the Recreation Park Markets from 9am – 1pm. A variety of stalls will be on show including Japanese cuisine, crepes, Orange Pie Co, arts and craft, bric-a-brac, handmade gifts, BBQ, coffee and OMG Donuts. Get properly bra fitted by Phillipa, or visit the SES stall and have a chat – there is something for everyone! EFTPOS facilities at the markets is not always available due to poor internet reception so be prepared with cash to make sure you do not miss our on that special purchase. Now Is The Time To Volunteer: The Canowindra Challenge Incorporated, is calling for new committee members at its AGM this evening 7 August, 6pm at the Canowindra Services Club. Coming up on 18 August, The Canowindra Progress Association will also be holding its AGM. Both groups rely on dedicated volunteers to continue. Whether you’re passionate about community development, tourism or the growth of Canowindra, volunteering your time and skills can make a real impact. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Your Annual Land And Stock Return Is Due: Don’t forget, your Annual Land and Stock Return is due by 31 August 2025. Completing it is straightforward and secure via the online portal, or for those who prefer a more traditional method, you can complete and return the paper form supplied.

Blokes BBQ Brunch: Bring a mate, bring the boys; young and old to the Canowindra Connections Centre this Sunday 10th August at 11am for the monthly Blokes BBQ Brunch. Donation entry, RSVP to Jacquie on 0480 450 079.

Rhyme Time at Canowindra Library: Every Friday morning during school term, little ones (birth to 2 years) and their carers are invited to join the fun at Canowindra Library from 10.15am to 10.45am. Through nursery rhymes, action songs, finger plays, and stories, Rhyme Time helps build early language and literacy skills in a playful, interactive way. Parents and carers also pick up handy tips to keep the learning going at home! Canowindra Library, 39 Blatchford St.
