Have Your Say – Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Survey: This is your chance to shape Canowindra’s future! Over $1.5 million is available in the Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Reserve for community infrastructure projects. Council is seeking input from Canowindra residents on how these funds should be allocated. Complete the survey by Friday, 28 February:

Essential Energy Grants: Grants up to the value of $15,000 are available for community-based initiatives supporting the environment, education, resilience or related to the energy transition. Eligible groups include not-for-profit organisations, charities and community groups located within Essential Energy’s network area. Nominations will close on Monday, 31 March 2025. Property owners are warned their domestic pet and working dogs may be affected. Share The Love At Gooloogong Markets: Head along to the Gooloogong Park Valentine’s Markets this Sunday, 9 February, 9am to 1pm. It is shaping up to be a fabulous day, and with over 30 stalls set to supply a wide range of products, it is the ideal opportunity to purchase a special gift for the one you love. A variety of fabulous food will be on offer with OMG Donuts, Saltbush Lamb and Gravy Rolls (who also have a gluten free option!), the regular sausage sizzle, snow cones and fairy floss, coffee, and more. Don’t forget that EFTPOS facilities are not always available due to poor internet reception so take along some cash just in case.
