Happy Birthday: A very happy 60th birth­day to Annette Thomas who celebrated on Saturday night at the Canowindra Bowl­ing Club. The surprise birthday party was organised by her daughter Emily Thomas and everyone who attended managed to keep it a secret! Happy Birthday.

Cabonne Council: In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), Cabonne Council ad­vises that the ordinary Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, 26th November 2024 will include the presentation of the audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Re­ports of the year ending 30 June 2024. Crafternoon: Head along to the CWA Hall in Canowindra this Sunday 24th Novem­ber from 1pm-4pm for an afternoon of craft and fun. You may like to decorate your own Christmas wreath or bring along some un­finished objects.

Help Protect And Preserve Our Herit­age: Applications now open for the NSW Heritage Grants. Local councils can apply for $25,000 to fund local heritage initia­tives, helping reconnect communities with their heritage. Applications are now open and close at 10am on Thursday, 30th Janu­ary 2025. Those interested in applying can find more information, including eligibility criteria and application details, on the Her­itage NSW website or the NSW Govern­ment Grants and Funding Finder.

Are You Ready For Sheep And Goat eID? NSW is currently transitioning to manda­tory individual electronic identification (eID) for sheep and goats. eID for sheep and goats is an enhancement to the existing mob-based system as part of the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
