Happy Birthday: A very happy 60th birth­day to Annette Thomas who celebrated on Saturday night at the Canowindra Bowl­ing Club. The surprise birthday party was organised by her daughter Emily Thomas and everyone who attended managed to keep it a secret! Happy Birthday.

Help Protect And Preserve Our Herit­age: Applications now open for the NSW Heritage Grants. Local councils can apply for $25,000 to fund local heritage initia­tives, helping reconnect communities with their heritage. Applications are now open and close at 10am on Thursday, 30th Janu­ary 2025. NSW is currently transitioning to manda­tory individual electronic identification (eID) for sheep and goats. eID for sheep and goats is an enhancement to the existing mob-based system as part of the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
