Calling All Participants For The 2025 Street Parade! The 2024 Balloon Week Street Parade was a fantastic celebration in Canowindra, and we want you to join us for next year’s event. Whether you’re part of a band, a dancer, a vintage car enthusiast, or just love community spirit, we’d love to have you! From the amazing Tommy Jeffs leading the parade to our beloved local groups including the Moorbel RFS, CWA, and the Ben Hall Re-enactment, there’s a spot for everyone. Interested? Storytime Canowindra: Runs every Thursday during the school terms from 10:15am. Canowindra librarian, Rossane creates such a fun and welcoming space every week with stories, puppets, songs, musical instruments and craft. RDA Central West Cyber Security Workshop: RDA Central West is conducting workshops focusing on cyber security and connectivity for businesses in the Central
West. In partnership with NBN Co, this initiative will draw on Mr Jeff Whitton’s significant experience and aim to equip SMEs with the latest knowledge and tools to address cybersecurity risks. The event will be held on Wednesday, 9th October, 10am – 12pm in the “The Nguluway Room” (door entry next to the Cowra Art Gallery), 77 Darling St, Cowra. CCC Spicks and Spandex 80’s Trivia Night: Get ready with your Lycra, big hair and disco balls, because Canowindra Connections Centre is hosting a Spicks and Spandex 80’s Trivia Night and want you there! Save the date for Saturday 2nd November and join CCC at Canowindra Bowling Club to raise money for the work of the Connections Centre in our Community. There will be a raffle, prizes for best dressed and more, a band, grazing platters and loads of laughter and good times.
