Know The F.A.S.T. Signs: National Stroke Week, run by the Stroke Foundation, from 5th – 11th August aims to encourage the community to know the F.A.S.T. (Face, Arms, Speech and Time) signs of stroke so we can save a life in the event of a loved one experiencing a stroke.
Knowing the FAST signs of stroke, and responding promptly by calling 000, can drastically improve the outcomes for someone experiencing a stroke.

Wheelchair Basketball Club Launched In Cowra: Local residents are being encouraged to be a part of the new Cowra Wheelchair Basketball Club, with people of all levels of ability invited to join. Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT CEO Mick Garnett said the club will be based at Cowra High School, with weekly training sessions taking place every Monday from 4pm to 5:30pm.
