Stork News: Jessica and Zach Gransden of Orange are celebrating the birth of their second child, a boy, born at Orange Health Service on 22nd July, weighing 3.3kg.

Chosen name is Theodore Maxwell Grans­den. He is a brother for Phoebe Jean aged 2.5years. Proud grandparents are Deb and David Jenkins of Canowindra, Max and Al­lison Gransden of Eugowra. Great grand­parents are Kevin and Jean Jenkins of Maroochydore QLD and Nancy Morrow of Canowindra.

Get Set To Swap: This Sunday, 4th Au­gust Canowindra Pony Club will be hosting their annual Swap Meet at the Canowindra Showground to raise much needed funds for their club. Gates will open from 5:30am – 6am for swappers and at 6:30am for the public with an entry fee of $5.

2025 ABC Heywire Competition: The na­tional broadcaster is calling on young peo­ple aged 16-22 to share their experiences of living outside the capital cities for the op­portunity to have their stories featured on the ABC. MLA Seeks Cattle Producer Representa­tive: Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) is looking to elect one cattle producer repre­sentative to its Board Selection Committee for a three-year term. $131,450 Funding For Eugowra Public School: On Wednesday 31st July, Phil Do­nato MP officially announced $131,450 in grants funding for Eugowra Public School. 

This funding is being provided under the NSW Government’s 2023 Commu­nity Building Partnership Grant Program, for the restoration of community sport­ing infrastructure at the Eugowra Public School. The funding will be used to repair and restore the tennis court, basketball/ netball court and cricket pitch through re­surfacing and installation of lighting.
