Stork News: Rebecca and Brandon Douglas from Young are rejoicing the birth of their second son born on 1st July, at Cowra Hospital, weighing 4.44kg. Names chosen are Isaiah Remi Douglas. A brother for Malachi who is 3 and a half years old.
Grandparents are Lin and Garry Douglas from Young, Sharon and Colin Tangye from Gooloogong. Isaiah is the 28th great grandchild for Nancy Morrow of Canowindra.

Resilient Homes Program: The NSW Reconstruction Authority is holding information sessions to help shape the Resilient Homes Program – Central West. Think Outside The Bottle: Local primary school children are being encouraged to participate in a national schools’ challenge to create an innovative way of re-using plastic bottles – with $20,000 worth of classroom stationery prizes up for grabs.
