This week, 5 – 12th May is National Road Safety Week – an annual initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and Government. The week highlights the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it. For further information go to www.roadsafetyweek.com.au
Kinvara Planting Day This Weekend: BirdLife Australia is hosting a tree planting event as part of their Central West NSW Birds on Farms project. 2,500 locally indigenous plants are being planted into a previously cleared 2.5 hectare paddock on a private property adjoining Conimbla National Park. The planting day will be held this Saturday, 11th May from 9am – 2pm at 2077 Kangarooby Road, Gooloogong. Secure your place at www.eventbrite.com/e/kinvara-planting-day-tickets-883108399997.
