One of the electric bikes that were stolen last weekend.

Theft Of Electric Bikes: Sometime on Saturday night during the balloon glow, two electric bikes were stolen from the Showground. It appears bolt cutters were used to remove the two electric bikes from a visiting caravan and they were ridden away. What a sad way to end such a wonderful week. We encourage those responsible to return the bikes to their owners. If you see anyone with a newly ‘acquired’ electric bike, or see an electric bike dumped on the golf course or showground, after a joyride please report it. We are hoping this won’t discourage people from far and wide, coming to the balloon festival and enjoying our wonderful town.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea: Canowindra CWA would like to thank Tommy Jeffs for offering Montrose House again this year for this important fundraiser for Cancer Research. Tea, coffee, and a variety of cakes and slices will be available from 9:30am until 12 noon on Thursday 23rd May. We hope to see you there.
