Wood Raffle: St Edward’s School P&F are running a raffle to raise money for the School! You could win a truck load of Hotbox Firewood. The P&F will be selling tickets on Saturday 20th April from 8.30am outside IGA in Gaskill Street. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 10th May 2024.
Entries Open for the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize: The Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize is an annual art prize and exhibition that aims to foster a sense of identity, pride and place in Cabonne whilst encouraging and showcasing the high calibre of creative talent in the region. Entries are open to all artists who currently live, work, or attend school in the Cabonne Local Government Area.

Nyrang Creek Bridge Replacement: Good news – the on-site reconstruction of Nyrang Creek Bridge, on Nangar Road, will commenced this week. On-site works include the reconstruction of the bridge, realignment of the approaching road pavement, and decommissioning the temporary side access road once the new bridge has been reinstated. Off-site works have already been undertaken which included pre-casting of the bridge components. It is expected that, subject to favorable weather conditions, the bridge will be open to traffic in early June 2024.
