Canowindra CWA Crafternoon: Do You like craft? Have you got an unfinished project that you wish to finish? Reducing Harvest Fires: Harvest season is upon us and the last thing you need is your header going up in flames. The best way to minimise this risk is with a good inspection and clean, and some pre-harvest maintenance. Australia Day 2024 Community Events Grants: The National Australia Day Council (NADC) are pleased to announce that Community Events Grants are open for Australia Day 2024 to provide communities with the opportunity to reflect, respect and celebrate Australia. In 2024, grants will be available to all local councils and state government bodies. Event hosts can apply for a fixed grant of $10,000 to deliver events on Australia Day that use NADC’s ‘Reflect. Donate Today: Last Friday 20th October, three local high school students Nina Cuddy, Hannah Gordon and Emma Haslam participated in the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave. To date, they have raised and amazing $6,370! If you missed the action last week, you can still donate in the girl’s name on the website https://worldsgreatestshave.com/donate.
