CWA Public Speaking Success: The CWA Inter Group Public Speaking Competition for Central Western, Far Western and Oxley Groups was held in Narromine on Monday, 19th June. Jan Kerr from the Canowindra CWA was one of the judges on day and was very impressed with the high calibre of all speakers. Local students from St Raphael’s Catholic School in Cowra performed exceptionally well with Bella Starr receiving highly commended in the High School Category for years seven and eight and Laura Price receiving first place in the years nine and ten category.

CWA Crafternoon: The next Crafternoon will be held on Sunday, 25th June from 1-4pm. All are welcome to bring along their own project. Anything from sewing, knitting, crocheting or any other craft you like. An overlocker and sewing machine are available to use as well as expert advice on all things craft with our very own handicraft officer, Bev!
