Local ladies Dr Ellen Downes and Joanna Balcombe attended the official opening dinner of the 2023 Royal Easter Show last Friday, 7th April.

CWA Street Parade All Day Breakfast: This year the ladies from CWA will be holding an all day breakfast from 9am – 2pm on Saturday, 15th April at the CWA Hall in Blatchford St on the day of the street parade. Pop in and say hello to the ladies.

Looking For Souvenirs During Balloon Week? The Canowindra Creative Centre Shop has a selection of locally made and designed Canowindra souvenirs available. You can find these at 50 Gaskill St. The shop is open Monday through to Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Pop in and shop local.

Sculptures by the Bush: On your way home from this years Canowindra International Balloon Challenge, get exploring the Blayney Shire. Checkout the list of entries for the 2023 Sculptures by the Bush with a record number of sculptures. Take a scenic drive around the villages and see what creative artworks the locals have created.
