Students Participate In RDA Sessions: Students from Canowindra High School re-commenced Riding for The Disabled (RDA) sessions a couple of weeks ago in Cowra, and there were smiles all around! The students enjoyed getting reacquainted with the horses and RDA volunteers, and practising using commands to make the horses stop and go. Thanks to all the volunteers at RDA who give up their time to ensure our regional students can access and benefit from this amazing program.
Canowindra Show AGM 2023: The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 28th March from 6.30pm at the Canowindra Bowling Club. All positions will become vacant. If you are at all interested in helping and being part of the local Show Society, come along. Look forward to seeing you all there.
Boobs Out Against Breast Cancer: Join in on Saturday, 25th March for a fundraiser morning tea for Breast Cancer Network Australia being held at the Canowindra Connections Centre.
Boobs out against Breast Cancer is a morning tea for women only (children are welcome). The Fitting Studio by Philippa Mitchell will be joining in with her mobile fitting room. Get fitted for a new bra and enjoy morning tea, all to help fight breast cancer.

Canowindra Young Leaders: The Canowindra Public School leadership team headed to Sydney on Monday, 6th March to attend the Halogen Leadership Conference. Amongst the fun, there were also some unique experiences.
Students toured Government House and met with the Governor of NSW Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley. They were treated to a lovely afternoon tea whilst the Governor chatted with the students about their roles as leaders within the school.
The following day, the school attended the 2023 Halogen Leadership Conference. Students were addressed by several leaders from a variety of fields and learnt what motivates and inspires these people to strive to succeed, make change and assist others. Students left the conference with a clear vision, a solid understanding and several ideas for their time as a leader.
