Canowindra Pre-School Kindergarten Cookbook: At long last the cookbook has arrived, and it is fabulous. If you would like to have a look, they have been placed around town in a few shops. Thank you to all the businesses who have offered to have the cookbook for sale in their store. If you would like to buy a copy, please call the preschool or drop in during operating hours. Thank you to everyone who preordered, your patience is appreciated. Cookbooks are $40 and all funds raised support the preschool.
Calling All Businesses: Canowindra Swimming Club invites your business to participate in the Business House Relays Friday, 24th February commencing at 7pm.
$50 per team with a maximum at 18 teams on the night. The winner will be the team that swims closest to their nominated swim time.
If you would like to sponsor a team, but do not have the swimmers, or not all four swimmers, the club will allocate swimmers to swim for you and work out your nominated time. Contact Beth Gordon for more information on 0400 850 968.
Paint it Out Expressive Workshop: Join Kaz at Gallery 55 on Saturday, 25th February for the “Paint it Out” expressive art workshop. The workshop will run from 10am – 3pm with light refreshments and a break for lunch. Bookings are $100 per person, which includes light refreshments, materials and a journal to keep. Scouts for Cowra? Two more leaders and a parent committee are still needed to get a Scouts group started. It does take time, but it is very rewarding working with young people on developing leadership and becoming good citizens.
