Christmas Wrapped Up With Cherie: Cherie Banks is donating her time to wrap presents for a gold coin donation. All proceeds will go to the Canowindra Hospital. You can find Cherie in front of the Canowindra Creative Centre every Saturday in the lead up to Christmas from 10am to 2pm.
Rosnay Cellar Door Open! The Statham family have finished converting their old tractor shed into an amazing strawbale and recycled timber cellar door. Taste their range of organic wines and enjoy a tasting plate of olives and fig products for $15pp. Rosnay are also are proud stockists of locally grown free range Refalo Pork smallgoods and Second Mouse Cheese. Open Friday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
Gooloogong Country Club Christmas Party: Head over to Gooloogong on Saturday, 10th December from 4.30pm for the Country Clubs Christmas Party. There will be live music, Santa arriving by fire truck, ham raffles and more.
Canowindra Christmas Day Lunch: The Canowindra Christmas Day Lunch is open to everyone, free of charge and is an alcohol-free event. Bookings are essential and are open now. Sunday Sessions Back Just In Time For Summer: The original Sunday Sessions at the Bowlo are back thanks to Carlton and United Breweries and Canowindra Music and Events Co. who have joined forces with the Bowling Club.
Starting from Sunday 17th December, the Sunday Sessions aim to bring the community together with live music. Megan Woods Music will be kick-starting the Sunday Sessions with her amazing vocals and stage presence.
The event will be family friendly with a kid’s table set up with arts and crafts. Each Sunday a local community group will be selling hotdogs or a sausage sizzle, zooper doopers, kid’s packs, and lolly bags from 3pm to help their organisation raise funds. Great Northern Brewing Co. are offering $4 schooners for the afternoon and the club will have the courtesy bus running.
