CWA members Leanne Stevenson and Jan Kerr helped out in the canteen at the Canowindra Tigers game last Sunday.
Canowindra Catholic Ball: Will be held in Canowindra on Friday 9th September 2022 at 7.30pm at Canowindra Services Club, tickets are $30pp. Gail Davis and Jennifer Middleton are working along with plenty of encouragement from the Catholic Parish Priest, Father Laurie Beath to hold this ball. The highlight of the evening will be a “retro debutante presentation” starring five original debs and their partners from previous decades. A guest of honour is also being organised. Canowindra’s first Catholic Debutante Ball was held in May 1935 with 18 debutantes. There hasn’t been a Catholic Debutante Ball since 1983 or 1984. All proceeds from the ball will be going to the Ukrainian refugees settling in Orange. Come along for a fun night and help support this worthy cause. For all bookings contact Gail on 0417 747 338.

Palms Twilight Markets: It is time to dust off your fingerless gloves, get out the crimper and pull on your leg warmers!
