Stork News: Steve and Danni Maere of Cargo welcomed their third child a beautiful boy on 27th May 2022. Hemi John Maere is a brother for Archer 5 and Alba 2. Proud grandparents are Deb and David Jenkins of Canowindra and Seymour and Kay Maere of Cargo. Hemi is the 24th great grandchild for Nancy Morrow of Canowindra.
Pre-School to School Transition: The Canowindra Pre-School will hold an information evening regarding the process, expectations and requirements for transition from Preschool to Primary School, for families of eligible 2023 school age children. There will be guest speakers from Canowindra Primary School, St Edward’s Catholic Primary School, as well as Community Health representatives including the Speech Pathologist and the Occupational Therapist. The evening will be held on Tuesday 21st June at 6.30pm at the Pre-School.
Double Demerits for Long Weekend: Drivers are being warned to be patient and cautious over the long weekend as double demerit points come into force. Double demerits will be in operation from Friday June 10 until Monday June 13 (inclusive) for all speeding, mobile phone, seatbelt and motorcycle helmet offences.
