Attention Kids: Don’t forget to enter the Phoenix Colouring In Competition, it is open until Thursday 14th April with some great prizes to be won for 7 and under and 8 and above age categories.

Hop Down Gaskill Street: Have you seen all the rabbits in the windows along Gaskill Street in Canowindra yet? How many rabbits can you count? If you can count the correct number of rabbits in the main street shop windows this April then you could be in the running to win a prize. Simply write the number of rabbits counted, your name and phone number and drop into the Phoenix Office at 84 Gaskill St or into Tommy’s mailbox at Montrose House.

Museum Open: For all the lovely visitors to our town this week make sure you pop into the Canowindra Historical Society and Museum in Gaskill Street it is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm and Sunday if possible.

ANZAC Day: The Canowindra RSL Sub- Branch would like to advise the community that ANZAC Day will back to its normal schedule this year. Dawn Service 6am at Memorial Park and the Main Service will commence once the March arrives at Memorial Park at approximately 11am. If people would like to march they will need to be at the corner of Ryall and Gaskill streets at 10:45am.

Canowindra Public School P&C is Back: After several disrupted years due to COVID the Canowindra Public School are proud to announce that the P&C is back in 2022 and excited to share a new look committee. Led by new President Eleena Markcrow, Vice President Natika Millar, Secretary Angela Payne and Treasurer Emma Grey. The P&C will hold their first event for the year on Friday 6th May with a Mother’s Day morning tea at the school.

Twilight Market: The Palms Twilight Markets will be held on Friday 22nd April from 4-8pm in Gaskill St. There will be Art, Crafts, Food, Fresh Local Produce and Live Music.
