Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Hannah Gilroy who married Brad Myer in Griffith last weekend. Hannah is Nancy Morrow from Canowindra’s grand daughter.
Canowindra Pool: Will be working on reduced hours until the end of the season. The pool will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2-6pm, Wednesday from 4-6pm and on the weekends from 10am – 4pm.

Volunteers Needed: The Age of Fishes Museum in Canowindra are on the hunt for some new volunteers to work in the Museum. Any amount of time volunteers can spare would be appreciated and tim tams will be provided. It is a great chance to meet new interesting people every day! If you have some spare time please drop into the Museum to discuss further.
Roadworks: Cabonne Council are currently undertaking road works in the area including: Rehab works on Warraderry Way from Casuarina Dr towards Canowindra until Friday 29th April 2022. There will also be heavy patching on Casuarina Dr (from Barnes Lane to Warraderry Way) until Wednesday 1st June 2022. Please note that road works may be impacted by weather conditions and in the interest of safety please obey speed restrictions, and plan your trip ahead of time to avoid delays.
Solar Panels: The Canowindra Community Bowls and Recreation Club are currently after support and feedback on placing solar panels on the roof of the Club to save on electricity charges. The Club would like community feedback on this project and ask that community members email their support or comments to canowindrabowlingclub@gmail.com
Lap the Map: Don’t forget that the Canowindra and Cudal-Cargo Lions Club is hosting ‘Lap the Map’ this Saturday 26th March at Canowindra Sports Complex to raise money for Diabetes. Come along and walk around the oval, to raise money for the Diabetes Research Foundation.
