Best wishes to Barry for his retirement.

NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill Passes Lower House: On Friday 26th November the NSW Lower House passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Bill 2021 by 52 votes to 32. The next step for the Bill is that it now goes to the NSW Upper House for an inquiry. The inquiry committee will consider submissions over the end-of-year break and hold public hearings throughout December, before handing down its report early next year.

Don’t Forget to Vote: You must vote in the NSW Local Government Elections this Saturday, 4 December. Voting in Canowindra will take place at Canowindra High School, Browns Avenue, from 8.00am – 6.00pm. The polling venues for the Cabonne LGA can be found at www.elections.nsw.gov.au.

Dine & Discover Vouchers: The summer holidays just got better for NSW residents, with two additional $25 Dine & Discover vouchers rolling out for eligible customers this week. The vouchers will appear automatically in the Service NSW app, via SMS or email for existing digital customers. Current digital customers do not need to reapply to receive the extra vouchers. Customers who don’t have access to digital vouchers can opt into a new call and collect delivery method by calling NSW on 13 77 88 from 3rd December, nominate their nearest Service Centre and in three business days they can collect their paper vouchers.

Use your Dine and Discover vouchers at one of many participating local businesses.
