Canowindra SES Needs You! Canowindra SES Unit needs you! Due to the low numbers of SES members for Canowindra, the unit is calling for more people to join to help respond to emergencies within our community.

CWA Homemade Christmas Cakes: CWA Canowindra will be selling their homemade Christmas cakes at Christmas markets on Saturday 20th. If you would like to order, please phone Collette on 0429 929 678 or Joy on 0428 040 552. Gluten free available also.

Boost For Regional Youth: Young people living in the Central West and Western NSW will be able to enjoy school holiday camps with their friend’s thanks to NSW Government funding of the popular Holiday Break program which will give back the fun, care-free experiences our kids missed out on during the lockdowns. Get down To Gaskill Street This Saturday: The Canowindra Business and Progress Association Christmas Shopping street carnival including live music, prize draws, market stalls, shop window displays, a Selfie with an Elf on a Shelf scavenger hunt will be held this Saturday, 20 November

HSC Help from the State Library of NSW: The State Library of NSW is thinking ahead about the students who will be undertaking the HSC in 2022, and is holding a series of free ‘HSC Help!’ seminars for them from the 9 th to the 30 th November.
The online workshops aim to:
• Show students how to access free online resources from anywhere, anytime, or on any device
• Connect students with research specialists
• Show students how to get better search results, find the best quality content online, and save time in the process!

Topics include History, Aboriginal Studies, Legal Studies, English, and Society and Culture. You can register for the sessions at www.sl.nsw.gov.au/learning
