Visitor Restrictions Ease at Care Centres: There are no longer restriction on visitors to aged care residents, including those in Multipurpose Service across the Western NSW Local Health District. The following conditions will apply: All visitors are subject to COVID-19 screening and temperature testing. There are no longer restrictions on the number of visitors a resident can have each day or at one time. Visitors are not required to wear a mask. Subject to conditions, residents may leave to attend events. Local visiting rules may apply. Please follow the directions of health service staff.
Footy Tipping Competition: The Phoenix’s annual footy tipping competition starts 11 March. There are only 12 spots available at $80 for the whole season, which is 33 weeks long. It is a great opportunity to get your business name seen and have some fun! First prize is a 43-inch television generously supplied by Weily’s Betta Home Living, Orange. Hospital Fundraiser at the Golf Club: This Saturday, 6 March, the Canowindra Golf Club will be hosting a two person ambrose in aid of the hospital. The ambrose starts at 10am with a sausage sizzle at 12pm followed by an auction at 4pm. Auction items have been generously donated by businesses in the community. All Welcome.
Nancy’s Debutante: Tammy Stone from Katunga, Victoria, made her debut at Shepparton on Friday, 26 February 2021. Tammy is the daughter of Heather Gilroy of Katunga and the granddaughter of Nancy Morrow.
