Check out Facebook Group Pilots4Harvest2020 , the group is aimed at connecting farmers who are looking for harvest workers and aviation industry members who are keen to come out bush and do harvest work during the pandemic. Planned New Service Station: We have had a lot of questions about the new service station that is to be built in Gaskill St recently. As most residents know the DA for the service station on Gaskill St was approved some months ago by Cabonne Council. The development consent has a lifetime of five years and the developer can choose to action the development at any time during this period. This is all the information we have at this time on this matter.
Pool Opening: Cabonne Council is working on the 7th November to open all pools across the Shire. Canowindra residents may see activity at the pool in the lead up to this date with life guard training being undertaken. Council will also be doing everything in its power to adjust for a summer season that is COVID safe, so please be patient with Council if this date alters.
Contributions Welcome: The Phoenix welcomes all contributions, so please email your be seen photos, stork news, way back when photos and story, engagement news, wedding bells, anniversary celebrations, birthday photos or if you would like to feature in the Our Gal or Our Bloke Column to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 6344 1846.
