WNSWLHD Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services celebrating Mental Health Month: 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and now more than ever it is extremely important to be talking and thinking about our mental health.

The WNSWLHD Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services team have developed a calendar full of activities to celebrate Mental Health Month. This awareness month encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not.

“It is always essential to seek support early. These programs aim to increase awareness, not only about Mental Health but also about the best way to get the support you need, when you need it,” said Jason Crisp, WNSWLHD Director of Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol.

Spring Photo Competition: The Canowindra Phoenix has teamed up with local photography business Jessica Elizabeth Photography for the 2020 Spring Photo Competition. Now is the time to grab your camera, snap a great photo and email it through to sales@canowindraphoenix.com.au by 30th October 2020. All photos will be judged by Jessica Elizabeth Photography with the winner receiving a mini photo session worth $150.

Eureka Spring Rose Sale: It was a perfect spring day on Saturday for the Eureka Rose Sale, with a constant flow of customers and rose enthusiasts claiming their sort-after stash of roses throughout the day. Luke’s rose talk was as popular as ever and the kid’s cake stall was again a hit and they sold out of all their homemade goodies.

The Eureka team wish to extend a big thank you to Annette and Emily Thomas for all their help on the day. The team are hoping to have another sale before Christmas, however with the current pandemic, demand of their plants has been hard to keep up with.
