The Café Delice Canowindra team of Emily Jones, Brodie Woods and Penny Jones.

Fundraiser: The Team at Café Delice in Canowindra last Thursday raised over $250 for Sock It to Suicide, for World Suicide Prevention Day. Brodie and his team would like to thank the locals for their support.

Canowindra Town Improvement Fund: At its Ordinary Meeting on 25th August 2020, Cabonne Council resolved to place the Draft Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Policy on exhibition for public comment. This document is now available for public inspection and comment until 5pm on Tuesday 29th September 2020. Written submissions should be addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 17, Molong, 2866 or can be emailed to council@cabonne.nsw.gov.au. The Draft Canowindra Town Improvement Fund Policy is located on Council’s website: https://www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/Council/Public-Notices/Draft-Canowindra-Town-Improvement-Fund-Policy

Please Note: Canowindra High School will be running their Athletics Carnival at the Sports Trust Oval on Wednesday 23rd September. It would be appreciated by the High School if members of the public avoided the area for the day to allow for proper social distancing during this time.

Garden Club Update: The Canowindra Garden Club will hold a Street Stall on Saturday 3rd October 2020. It would be fabulous if the Club could get some plants potted up to sell. If members can spare an hour or two to work on the stall, that would be great. Yearly fees are now due for 2020/2021 and are $15. The October meeting has also been changed from 21st October to the 28th October 2020.

Spring Photo Competition: The Canowindra Phoenix has teamed up with local photography business Jessica Elizabeth Photography to launch the 2020 Spring Photo Competition. With the Canowindra district having an amazing season after years of drought now is the time to grab your camera, snap a great photo and email it through to sales@canowindraphoenix.com.au by 30th October 2020. All photos will be judged by Jessica Elizabeth Photography with the winner receiving a mini photo session worth $150, this includes a 30 minute session and 15 digital images and an online gallery. Happy snapping!

Chase Away the Winter Blues Raffle: Canowindra Arts are holding a raffle with some great local prizes up for grabs! You could win a $50 voucher to spend at a local business. Tickets are available at the Art Gallery, First Choice Credit Union, Blue Bowerbird and Fashion on Gaskill.
