Grant and Radka Tatterson celebrating their Wedding Anniversary on Sunday.

Special Anniversary: Congratulations to Radka and Grant Tatterson who celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday 19th April, 2020. The couple were married on 19th April 1980 in Mount Evelyn, Victoria. Radka and Grant celebrated with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a picnic lunch in the sunshine.

Storytime Adventures at Home: Although all of the Central West Libraries are closed you can still connect with everyone’s favourite storyteller, Fiona. Each week day a new video is released on the Central West Libraries website at www.cwl.nsw.gov.au/storytime-at-home. All you need to do is click on a book cover to watch Fiona read a story just for you.

Golf News: On Sunday 19th April golfers played the April Monthly Medal sponsored by Bill Flannery. Winner was Adam Rogers with a great round of 86 Nett 66. Runner up was Doug Flannery with 73 Nett 67.

Council Update: Due to the updated public health order on 6th April 2020, camping grounds and caravan parks are now opened to permanent residents, overnight travellers, persons working in the local area, other persons who have no other place of permanent residence, or whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable, and visitors who are visiting those who meet the aforementioned criteria in the Cabonne Shire. Please check the Council website for a comprehensive list of what is currently open and closed in the Cabonne region at www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/news

Condolences: The Women’s Bowls team would like to send their sincere sympathy to Gwen Haydon and family on the recent death of her son Paul, their thoughts and prayers are with Gwen and her family as they mourn the loss of a loved one.

Activities For Kids: The Office of the Advocate for Children and Young People (ACYP) has designed the Digital Lunch- break website to assist children and young people with finding online resources and activities to do at home in their lunchbreak. Head to www.digitallunchbreak.nsw.gov.au/activities
