Masonic Lodge Announcement: Are you experiencing any challenges at home due to the Coronavirus? Do you have any exceptional circumstances where you need some assistance with obtaining essential supplies? Masonic Lodge Canowindra is taking calls to assist those in need. They will be generating a priority list in an attempt to provide assistance and are networking within the community to get help to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Foodbasket Update: To help protect the health of customers and volunteers, the Canowindra Foodbasket will operate but with a changed format. A$10 bag of essential groceries will be available at the Uniting Church Hall every Friday. Please have the correct money available in a small zip lock bag. Driver Testing: Driver Testing across NSW has now been postponed for a minimum period of two months. The change comes into effect from Monday, 30th March 2020 in response to the latest health advice and risks associated with COVID-19. It applies to all practical driver assessments conducted by Service NSW. Service NSW apologise for any inconvenience and appeal for people to understand this decision was made with the safety of customers and staff front of mind.

More than ever, communities need to be inspired and enlivened by the magic of a book being read aloud, and by the stories of the creators who bring books into the world. Story Box Library is available for free through libraries, and behind-the-scenes Storybox are working on the best ways to make con- tent as accessible as possible during these challenging times.
