Everyone is welcome to the Christmas Carols at All Saints this year!

Christmas Carols at All Saints: Christmas is almost here and choir rehearsals have begun for Christmas Carols at All Saints Anglican Church which will be held at 5pm on Saturday 14th December 2019. Everyone is welcome, why not grab a friend and bring your singing voices along.

Save the Date: Canowindra Tigers to Celebrate Centenary in 2020 on 9th and 10th May. The programme will be a First Grade fixture on the Friday evening with the usual after match frivolity and presentation of the Awards being held at the Royal Hotel. On Saturday mid-morning Bowls at the Canowindra Bowling Club with the Lion’s Club providing a BBQ. Function at the Services Club on Saturday night, followed by the two remaining Woodbridge Cup games on Sunday at the Oval with the Club to do Brunch.

Cabonne Council: Are seeking public comments and submissions on a proposal to provide funding of $30,000 over three years from its Events Assistance Program to the promoters of A Day on the Green, which is expected to inject $1.6 million into the region’s economy when it is held for the first time at Borenore next year. Public comment and submissions are invited until 5pm on Wednesday 11 December 2019 and written submissions should be addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 17 Molong NSW 2866 or can be emailed to council@cabonne.nsw.gov.au Renowned Australian band Cold Chisel is the headline act for A Day on the Green, which will be held at Heifer Station winery on Saturday 1 February 2020.

Nothing But Gold: Last week the 2019 NSW Tourism Awards Winners were announced. Grazing Down the Lachlan in Forbes, received Gold in the Festival and Events category, Heifer Station Wines in Orange, received Gold in the Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries category, Gold was also awarded to the Orange 360, Extend the Weekend Campaign in the Destination Marketing category. Well done to all the winners!
