Orange Rodeo: The East to West Coast Rodeo Championships is set to hit Orange Showground again on Saturday October 12th, gate opens at 4pm with the main action at 5pm. The evening promises bone crunching family entertainment with Australia’s rodeo stars being cowboys and cowgirls who will be competing for the prestigous gold buckle award of being crowned Australian East Coast Champion in their chosen event. Bulls, Broncs, Bikes and Barrel Racing horses are just some of the entertainment you will see, also at the Orange Rodeo is Newcastle artist Holly Wilson who will be singing live throughout
the night. There will be food stalls, bar and jumping castles and other amusements for the children. Tickets are sold on the day at the gate or you can save and buy online before gate opens at www.ticketebo.com.au/orangerodeo
Cargo Village Markets: Are on again this Sunday 29th September on the Village Green from 10-3pm. The markets will be fundraising for Can Assist who help all cancer sufferers and their families in the area. As usual there’ll be lots for the children and five outlets for hot food for lunch. There’ll be fresh meat, fruit and vegies, port, nuts, organic apples, gourmet potatoes, honey, Pioneer Brewery beer, Coffee all day at the Coffee shop, Hamburgers and chips at the Cargo Store and beer at the Inn. There will be lots of local stalls with garden art, freshwater pearls, jewellery, baby, children and adult clothing, plants, flowers, tile art, soaps, knitting, jams and sauces, candles, wool and wool products, toys, books, crystals, antiques and collectables, vintage
and retro goods, art clothing, oils and succulents, blacksmithing, garden tools and more.
