Andrew Gee Visits Canowindra: Andrew Gee was spotted walking up and down Gaskill Street on a wet and cold Friday last week. Mr Gee, Federal Member for Calare, chatted to locals and paid a visit to Charlie McCarrons Canowindra Motors, where the pair talked about Charlie’s upcoming auction.

Make Your Vote Count: This Saturday is election day so be sure to make your voice heard by voting. You will be given a green ballot paper for the House of Representatives and a white one for the Senate. Moorbel Markets: The markets will be held on Saturday 2nd July commencing at 8am until 12 noon at Moorbel Hall. A great range of stalls are available which include garden art, gift items, collectable items, a wide variety of plants, vegetables, free range eggs, Doug’s gourmet potatoes, goat’s milk soap, medical socks, beautiful items with that personal touch, jewellery, handmade cards, jams, bric-a-brac and of course, lovely homemade cooking. The Moorbel ladies will be at the Moorbel table so call in and say ‘hello’. There will also be a barbecue with sausage or rissole sandwiches and a cuppa with scones available to purchase at a minimal price. We look forward to seeing you there.
