The Best Electoral Roll in History: A record 16,424,248 Australians are enrolled to vote in the 2019 federal election. This follows almost 100,000 additions to the roll in the week preceding the close of rolls, which has pushed the national enrolment rate to an extraordinary 96.8%. Don’t forget to cast your vote on Saturday 18th May 2019 from 8am-6pm at Canowindra High School, Cudal Public School, Cargo Public School or Eugowra Public School.

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of the Age of Fishes Museum Incorporated will take place at 6.00pm on Monday 27th May 2019. The meeting will take place at the Age of Fishes Museum.

Results are in for the Supagas Canowindra International Balloon Challenge: Congratulations must go to the French Team with pilot Clement Seigeot at the helm who won the Supagas Canowindra International Balloon Challenge for 2019 followed closely by Great Britain and then Australia. Clement Seigeot finished on 17,842 points followed by Dominic Bareford from Great Britain on 17,014 and Australian Peter Wright on 15,865. For more

School is Back: Don’t forget that school is now back for Term 2. Please observe the School Zones on Tilga, Blatchford and Rodd Streets in Canowindra and slow down to 40km/h when you see the flashing lights.

Sydney Royal Easter Show: Kinellar White Suffolk and Poll Dorset Stud just outside of Canowindra had a great time at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for 2019. The White Suffolk Pair of Rams placed 1st and Kinellar 180050 just missed out on Reserve Champion Ram. Well done to the Patterson family!
