Canowindra Public School P&C AGM: The AGM was held on Monday 4th March and the following people were elected to the committee for 2019. President – Beth Gordon, Vice Presidents – Julie Fliedner and Mel Abbot, Treasurer – Tamara Pearce and Secretary – Kobie Rogers.
Attention Pythons: Training has begun on Thursday nights for the seniors and ladies from 7pm at the oval in Canowindra. All players are encouraged to attend to get ready for the upcoming 2019 season. The Pythons will play in the Village Cup on Saturday 23rd March at Redmond Oval in Millthorpe. Kicking off at 2pm the mighty Canowindra Pythons will take on the Mozzie Barbarians. This will be followed by the Blayney Rams versing the Molong Magpies at 3pm. The final will kick off at 4pm between the winners of the two previous matches. Food and drinks, including alcohol, will be available for purchase on the day so head over to Millthorpe for a fun day of Rugby!
Angel Gowns for Australian Angel Babies: The not-for-profit charity have members in and around the Central West of NSW who make baby gowns out of preloved wedding dresses for babies aged 13 weeks to 6 months of age who have died as a result of stillbirth, life-limiting illness or special needs. The group are currently looking for more volunteer seamstresses to make the gowns. If you are interested in getting involved head to the website www.angelgowns.org.au
