Canowindra Business and Progress Association: Held their AGM last week and the new committee for 2019 is President – Graeme Beasley, Vice President – Arthur Falconer, Executive Secretary and Publicity Officer – Graeme Kerr, Public Officer – Anne Clark, Non-Executive Treasurer and Secretary/Administrative Support – Vanessa Fagan. All community groups and individual members are welcome to join the Canowindra Business and Progress Association. Please email Vanessa Fagan – cbapa@bigpond.com for a membership form.

Canowindra Pythons: Are having a get together and a few beers this Sunday the 10th February at the Clubhouse about 3pm to talk about the upcoming 2019 season. Bring anyone along including players, supporters and the family. 2019 is going to be a big year for the Pythons!

Donations Needed: The TAS department at Canowindra High School are currently looking for donations of small engines, such as lawn mower or whipper snipper to assist with the running of Year 9 Auto. They do not need to be working however as complete as possible would be appreciated. Please contact Steve Wilson, IT-Metals teacher, through the school 6344 1305 for more information.

Canowindra Junior Rugby League Football Club: Registrations are now open for Canowindra Junior Rugby League. Come and join in for the 2019 season. Be sure to apply for your active kids voucher first and enter this when registering online. Simply head to https://playnrl.com to register.

Canowindra Pythons Women’s Rugby: Is back again in 2019. So come on ladies if you can catch, pass and tackle come and give it a go! The ladies train on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm at the oval. Bring your mums, aunts, sisters, cousins, and friends along!

Battery Drive: Canowindra Tyre Service collects old batteries for recycling and donates the profits to the P&C Associations of the local Primary and High Schools in Canowindra. If you have old batteries at home drop them into the Tyre Service shop today.
