Stork News: Alexander Edward Benham was born on 28th April weighing 2,320kg at 10.14am. Proud parents are Steven and Stacey Benham, Grandparents Frank and Jacqui Harkness and Great Grand Mother May Forbes all from Canowindra. Zachary is the proudest most loving big brother and loves giving Alexander lots of kisses and cuddles. He waited a long time to meet him. It was love at first sight.

Win for Cowra: On Tuesday The Hon Michael McCormack MP, Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Member for Riverina and the Central West announced $829,619 under the Building Better Regions Fund infrastructure projects stream to upgrade the Kendal Street footpath between Brisbane and Lachlan Streets in Cowra to improve accessibility, pedestrian movement and streetscape character.

Cabonne Council: Have been busy around Canowindra, last week they were getting the new half wine barrels and plants ready to beautify Gaskill St and they have also been busy at Shep’s Corner putting a covering over the fence and a new garden bed has been built.
