Canowindra Community Skate Park Mural: Would you like to be involved? Local artist Melissa Gersbach has been given a grant by Cabonne Council to design and implement the painting of a mural for the local skate park in Canowindra. Community Advisory Group: To guide strategic decision-making, the Board of Central Tablelands Local Land Services (CTLLS) is calling for nominations from dedicated community oriented individuals to form a Community Advisory Group (CAG). The CAG of no more than 10 members will provide the Board with a forum to consult with the community when developing strategy and planning services in order to maintain our resilient, healthy, productive landscapes and communities. The CAG will provide an all-of-service focus to inform the Board’s strategic planning to June 2020. Surprise 50th for Sharon: A surprise 50th birthday party was held for Sharon Tangye at the Cowra Services Club on Saturday 14th April. Sharon is the third daughter of Nancy Morrow of Canowindra and John McLean of Katunga in Victoria. Relatives and friends from Gooloogong, Canowindra, Albion Park, Forbes, Robertson, Colo Vale, Yass, Victoria and Queensland were in attendance. Sharon’s five grandchildren were also there to enjoy the great night.
