Well done to the Canowindra High School students involved in the Junior Judging at Parkes Show last week.
A number of students picked up ribbons – Hayley Watson (merino and grain), Kathleen Pace (merino), Chloe Bellach (fruit + veg), Caitlyn Roy (merino) and Maisie Harrison (fruit + veg and grain).
Darcy Merchant received 1st in meat sheep, fruit + veg, merino fleece, and 2nd in merino judging. She also received the most successful judge ribbon for her efforts.
Another highlight of the day was Canowindra High School receiving the ASC of NSW Next Generation Award for the way the students conducted themselves on the day.
This included the way they cooperated as a group and the high level language and communication skills they exhibited.
