SES volunteers from across the region recently attended the New South Wales, State Emergency Service, Central and Mid West Command Awards Presentation in Orange to acknowledge their extraordinary services.
Local resident, Owen Lloyd from the Canowindra Unit was recognised for his commitment and support during the creation of the Cudal Community support Team in late 2022. The community extends its sincere gratitude to Owen and the rest of the SES volunteers and all that they do for the community.
The SES volunteers strive to keep Australian communities safe and secure when tragedy strikes. Many residents in the area witnessed the sacrifices of SES volunteers at work during the recent disastrous storm and flood events.
