St Edwards children excited to greet the Orange Classic and Enthusiast Motorcycle Club.
As part of their annual ride, the Orange Classic and Enthusiasts Motorcycle Club parked 140 motorcycles at St Edwards Catholic School on Saturday, 18th February.
They were greeted by members of the St Eddie’s P&F who had prepared a delicious morning tea for the riders and guests.
The club has been visiting St Eddies for the past eight years as one the schools major fundraisers. This year, despite the warm weather it was one of its biggest turn outs with a large variety of bikes on show.
Riders, parents and friends of the school mingled after the club’s arrival, admiring the bikes and participating in several fundraisers the children and parents had prepared. Games and raffles were also one of the highlights of the day.
“On behalf of the St Edwards P&F, I would like to thank the Orange Classic and Enthusiasts Motorcycle Club for their ongoing support of our school,” said Rebecca Phelan, P&F Publicity Officer.
Over $1,500 was raised on the day which will go towards resources for the school.
The Orange Classic and Enthusiasts Motorcycle Club is very generous in supporting St Edwards with this fundraiser. Sincere thanks are extended to the parents and students who assisted to make the day a success.
