A Clearing Sale will take place on 13th March at Sunnyvale, Canowindra. The property has already been sold but vendors Paul and Pauline have a lot of equipment left to shift before they uproot and head to pastures new. ‘We are retiring so want to get rid of everything and go relax. We’ve got so much stuff it’s hard to recall it all!” says Paul, “but a few things include a sideboard, the top of a roll-desk in great condition, 140 first cross ewes January shorn and the majority scanned and lambed and approximately 35 tonnes of Tilga oats.” Also up for sale is an antique full timber roller door from the 1920’s, a dishwasher from a recent kitchen renovation, tents, chairs, recliners and lounges, art prints and originals. The farm house specialised in wheat, sheep and canola so the clearing sale will include extensive hay and silage making equipment and excellent cattle feeding facilities. Elders have been involved in organising the sale. Elders are rural services provider offering finance, livestock and wool marketing, farm merchandise, agronomy, property and auction sales. More information on this sale will be in next week’s edition.
