With players already suffering fatigue from the long travel, Canowindra started off slowly as Condobolin used this to their advantage. With only one injured reserve on the bench the Canowindra players each knew that they were in for a full game with minimum rest. Half time gave the players a break with the score being 18 – 0 Condobolin’s way. Canowindra’s try trio was started by Brodie Friend as he gracefully scored the first try for the Tigers with 20 minutes to go. Adam Micalef make a break and run himself straight under the goal posts for the second try. Matty Mclean was able to also run the ball straight under the posts scoring the final try for the day. Full time score was 22 – 18 with Kain Earsman being awarded Players Player for his third consecutive week. Coach Dean Stanbury stated that he was very proud of the effort the boys made with the given circumstances, they all played extremely well. A notable mention to Mick Mason who held three points and his Coach said he had his best game of the season.
