Retirement Planning And Business Planning Seminars

21 May, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Monica Maguire of MDM Financial Services is holding a FREE seminar on retirement planning in Cowra on the 4th June at the Services Club from 6pm.

This seminar will educate clients on the question – how much do you actually need to retire? It also will look at the recent changes in the Budget and also will look at Aged Care and some examples that sometimes it is better not to sell the family home when you go into Aged Care. It will also look at why super is still the best way to save for retirement. “Superannuation is still the best way to save for retirement due to the tax advantages the Government provides” Monica Maguire says.

MDM Financial Services is also holding a Luncheon on Business Succession Planning in Cowra on the 4th June. This is a great educational lunch for business owners who are in partnership on business succession and also those who are looking to sell their business what are the Capital Gains Tax implications of selling your business.

The presenter at both sessions is Justine Marquet who is a Technical Services Manager at AMP who has come from Sydney to facilitate these sessions. To get someone of Justine’s experience and calibre to country seminars is fantastic. We need to show our support and get strong numbers which would rival our City cousins.

Please register your interest in the seminar to Kay Links on 02 6341 2309.
