The Fit Girls off to Vietnam

The Fit Girls off to Vietnam

The Fit Ladies departed last Friday for Vietnam, to embark on their fundraising adventure for Arthritis NSW. The inspirational ladies are currently in Ho Chi Minh City as part of their bike ride from Vietnam to Cambodia.

The ladies have also helped out at Go Vap Orphanage, doing laundry, folding nappies and painting the kids windows for Christmas and New Years. “The Orphanage is home to 250 children, 80% of whom have a mental or physical disability and are there because they are just left at the hospital”, Jess Ware said.

Jane Atkinson and Sally Wallace also took a side trip, 5 hours east of Ho Chi Minh City to meet Thanh Tuan, who Jane has been sponsoring through World Vision for seven years.

So far, The Fit Ladies have raised $24,308.52 and are still taking donations. Head to http://vietnamtocambodia.gofun- draise.com.au/page/AtkinsonJ to donate, or if you would like to follow the ladies adventure, visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FourFitLadies

The Fit Ladies are currently in Ho Chi Minh City and are getting ready for their next adventure, taking to the roads on their bikes for the first time, trying to remember that the brakes are on the opposite side!
