How did you enjoy the Bathurst Winter Festival?
Caddie Marshall: We loved it. Machattie Park was magic and we loved seeing the buildings come to life with the illumination. Bathurst Regional Council are to be congratulated. It will become an annual favourite for us.
Rice Family: It was a winter wonderland filled with fantasy decorations, lights and jam packed with entertainment. The Rice family spent the weekend at Bathurst enjoying the variety of specialty food, hot mulled wine and even a whiskey bar. Debbie Rice cut some moves on the Gold Italian Carousel (merry go round) with the grandkids, and Graham took photos of his kids (still not grown up ) trying to out do each other on the ice skating rink. Matt even got called an “idiot” by a spectator for skating too fast through the crowd whilst pushing his niece on a kangaroo sled, which made him laugh. The event is a credit to Bathurst City Council.
