Q&A With Council Candidates

16 August, 2017 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

A public meeting and question and answer forum with Canowindra candidates for the upcoming election to Cabonne Council has been arranged for Wednesday 23 August at 5.30pm at the Canowindra Services Club. The evening is being held so the Canowindra community can hear from the candidates about what they stand for and to raise any issues of local interest or any concerns local voters may have.

Local candidates Anthony Durkin, Cheryl Newsom, Kevin Walker and Jenny Weaver will be attending.

As well as asking questions from the floor at the meeting, the public are also invited to pre-submit questions. These questions could be to specific candidates, or general questions to all candidates. These questions can be left in an envelope at Canowindra Newsagency, or at Adloyalty next to The Trading Post, or they may be emailed to indigopark@live.com.au

All questions must be submitted by Monday 21st August. This will help the candidates in their preparation for the meeting. This meeting will be facilitated by local resident Ross Cleary, and first preference for questions will be given to pre-submitted questions. All community members are invited to attend.
