The Canwindra Pythons had a tough game against Coonabarabran last weekend. The Pythons started out very strong, scoring a penalty but unfortunately wasn’t converted. Coonabarabran was quick to follow with a penalty but were also unsuccessful, keeping the score 0-0.
As the big hits kept coming, the boys kept pushing, but came unstuck with two quick tries scored by Coonabarabran. Canowindra were quick to come back with a try scored by Conor Lamond with an unsuccessful conversion bringing the score to 13-5.
After a long battle, Conor pushed his waythrough the back line to score another try, almost levelling the score to 13-12.
Despite the close game and massive hits, our boys had a few tries slip through in the second half to finish with the final score being 39-12.
