The Junior Pythons had a great gala day at Kinross in Orange on Sunday. There were some great comments from the kids about how soft and squishy the grass was! I guess that is what a lot of water will get you!
The under 9’s started the day with a strong game against Orange Emus and came off with a win. The second game against Bathurst Gold, a very strong side, was always going to be tough. I think the boys surprised themselves with how they matched up this time around. Although we did not win the game, the boys really excelled themselves. The last game against City was a great way to end the day. The score was close and we saw some great team work.
The under 7’s also had a great day with almost a full team of subs! These boys are showing some great skills, it will be sad to see the season end with the progress these guys have made over the past few months.
Next weekend will be the last gala day for 2014. We look forward to seeing all family and friends at the presentation day on the 7th of September.
