Exciting news for Canowindra! Cowra Bus Service is proposing to introduce a return passenger service from Canowindra to Cowra. This service would provide transport for residents to access services that are not currently available in Canowindra.
Fares would be in line with NSW passenger transport fares including adult, pensioner and Regional Excursion Daily (RED) tickets. RED tickets can also be used on the day to travel on the Hail and Ride bus service in Cowra.
The service would operate every second week on the second-last banking day of each month (pension day), arriving in Cowra at 10.15am and departing from Cowra at 1.40pm, allowing customers approximately three and a half hours in Cowra.
Those who want to support this service can do so by signing the proposal to indicate to NSW Government that the service will be utilised. The timetable and proposal are available to sign at Canowindra Home and Community Care 70 Gaskill Street.
